Love this place. Great coffee, good selection of hearty fare, friendly staff. Just what you need after a walk around Forge Dam!
I used to go with my Grandad when I was little. I popped down today 50 years later to find the only change was that the dam had trees and plants in the middle. The cafe was updated but not so that I didn't remember it. Lovely atmosphere.
can b hard to hind place to sit. small but lovely loction and cafe. better if they add some salad or low-cal menus.
We stopped for a coffee and tea. We bought a cheese and cranberry toasted sandwich. It came with coleslaw and salad. It was very tasty. Served with a smile by the helpful staff.
Great cafe. Nice food. The toilets are pretty filty and there is no nappy bin.
