Went in today as needed a chocolate fix and the woman serving me was great with me even though I'm a trans woman, however her colleague working with her was looking down on me giving me the eye as I'm a trans woman and even commented on how friendly she was been to me which I said we'll nothing wrong with good customer service as am a customer.
Decent friendly staff low price fuel can't go wrong
Scruffy, tatty looking, everything dirty. Costa coffee machine looks like it's not been cleaned for months, staff don't care less. Definitely would not buy food from here!

This was a very good petrol station/ shop when it was Texaco/ Spar, but it all started to change over a year ago when Applegreen took over. Many of the former polite and friendly staff have now left and the others seem despondent and overworked . It closes for 15 minutes around 11 o'clock and you they will shoo you away like a dog if you arrive at this time. After that you only get service through the night hatch as they've reduced to 1 staff member at night. I finish work late and used to call in for beers cigs, coffee and milk (milk price went from 1 to 1.85 overnight amongst other things too). The fuel is cheap but you get what you pay for, cheap and dirty low quality fuel that will probably cost you more in the long run as it degrades your engine quicker, if you have new or performance car please don't use this fuel, ok for old bangers vans and tractors.. Also as pointed out before 1 for air and water, Rip off.
