Very rude staff . Proper stuck up
Located in Hillsborough Park, Hillsborough Library is an old stately home originally owned by the Dixon family along with the walled garden and rest of the park.Hillsborough Hall as it was originally called was built in 1779, and opened as a public library in 1906.
It's an old house that became a library, it needs support, it needs money, it's needs loving!
Very helpful and friendly staff. Wish it was open more but it's a great local resource. I borrow books and films and use it as a space to write. Great setting in Hillsborough Park.
Small but a surprising selection of books. Needs a loo.
