Firstly I would like to say Thank you to all the staff, especially Hannah who treated me. For about 6 years I have been suffering with chronic back pain that causes migraines so bad I would throw up. I have tried prescribed medication to help combat the pain and 4 different Physio therapists as well as joining a gym and taking up yoga. None of this seemed to work and eventually had to take time off work as the condition worsened. My first impressions of the therapist were good as I managed to get an appointment that suited me and worked around my shift pattern. I took a block of 6 sessions with Hannah, who is really friendly, extremely helpful, knowledgable and changed my life!My first appointment was welcoming, Hannah recommended me for theraflex treatment which is a little machine that vibrates up the spine to loosen tight muscles and correct bad posture. After the first session I was very sore as Hannah explained I would be.Through out the treatment I noticed that I could stand up straight with less pain, breath better and my whole quality of life had improved significantly. Exercises were given that helped strengthen the muscles that had been effected due to my terrible posture. Im not 100% cured but I feel 110% better. To me it was a life changing experience worth more than money can buy. My advice to anyone suffering with pain is to throw away the pills and go see Hannah and the rest of the team. I shall be returning for more maintenance sessions in the future. Ive rejoined the gym, taken up swimming and I can enjoy my hobbies again without fear of pain. Thank you to all the staff at Sheffield Physiotherapy for all your hard work. James Marsh

Highly recommended, friendly staff and I feel very comfortable

After suffering a burst appendix I was struggling with various muscular problems which had been exacerbated through poor posture and old sporting injuries/weaknesses. Lewis provided targeted physiotherapy whilst also educating me to develop a functional understanding of my body allowing me to develop the tools and techniques to overcome my original problems. This has been transformative as it has allowed me to be pain free, function better than I have for many years and get me to a stage where I enjoy doing sport again. I have seen many physios in the past for different injuries but none have taken the same whole body approach and attention to detail which will hopefully prevent me from developing similar problems in future. I thoroughly recommend Lewis and his approach.

A superb established business with all the latest equipment and up to date technology. Very efficient and easy going, staff are friendly and they cater for all your needs. My wife has had quite a lot of treatment and is still under their care. Worth a visit to see if they can help with problems.

I went to Sheffield Physiotherapy for a right hamstring and calf injury. As soon as I entered the Sheffield physiotherapy building I was greeted warmly and professionally by the receptionist. She ensured that all my details were accurate and she was very positive in her attitude. The physiotherapist that I was seen by was Lewis Payne. He had a very professional yet warm and friendly manner. This was actually the second time I had been seen by Lewis Payne (the first-time was for a pec minor injury l injury). On each consultation Lewis undertook a detailed assessment of my injury and provided me with a subsequent tailored treatment plan. His knowledge of the human body is amazing and he seems to have an effortless understanding of the complex nature of the human body. When we discussed the best treatment plan he continued to provide me with a thorough well rounded exercise plan to restore and strengthen my injured area until recovery as well as a way in which to prevent the injury from recurring. He has an excellent array of treatment methods and techniques that he makes easy to understand so that when you leave the building you will have no problem applying them independently. He is also very diligent in making sure the exercise techniques shown to help you recover are performed properly and you definitely are not rushed in his consultation. Another great attribute of Lewis is that he provides the latest literature to back his treatment which suggests that he keeps up to date with the best practice out there.I will definitely recommend Lewis Payne at Sheffield Physiotherapy.
