I was gifted a Sheffield pocket knife made by A.Wright, which proved to be a robust and indispensable tool which I seldom left home without. When the back spring fractured after some years of hard use I contacted "The Famous Sheffield shop" who suggested I return the knife to them, which I duly did, to my delight within a week the knife was returned, repaired, resharpened and reworked to a very high standard.I was surprised and delighted with this outcome, in an age when companies are losing out to cheap goods supplied on the internet this is a testament to the wisdom of buying from reputable, established companies.

I Was so happy to make it in while on my visit. Sheffield was the birthplace of stainless steel so you know they have the best. The staff were amazing and took the time to share their knowledge. Got to see some of the history stored in the cabinets. Prices are surprisingly good. I bought myself a beautiful chef knife as well as a few other goodies. I will be back for more.
