It is an amazing bar, it is only small so booking in advance is recommended but if you are willing to hang around for a while you can get in. The decor is shabby chic.The drinks offered here are fantastic, ingeniously crafted for well rounded and multi layered tastes, as well as having their own unique set of cocktails the knowledgeable bar tenders are happy to make you a classic if you ask the cocktails are all reasonably priced.This is not a place to down a drink, often there is only one person making drinks so sip and savour them. They also have a wonderful selection of wines. Beer selection is very light.I have not tried the food.
Perfect for an intimate catch up with friends. We had reserved a booth which was ideal as we could chat and be waited on by the barman which was great. Nice background music too.
Very small, quirky venue. Some of the cocktails tasted incredible and its worth a visit just to try them. We spent a lot of time Googling the ingredients as they were new to us. However I wasnt impressed by the atmosphere, some of the staff seemed a little cliquey and we were in a booth (ironically by the toilets) so felt completely segregated from anyone else in the room and the walls look like dirty toilet walls, which turned my stomach a little. Maybe I just didnt get the vibe..? Good to go once, but wont go back.
Cosy little bar. Under the town hall. It is small but very nice. Ryan has great subject knowledge and makes you feel very welcome. Will be back again with the aPartner.
Love this! Vibe is great - really friendly & helpful staff with table service. Such a great range of cocktails (my fave were the rhubarb ones) & of nonalcoholic ones too. Music is on vinyl. Have to pay by cash only.
