Lovely pub, good beer selection, much bigger upstairs than down.
An excellent pub with a wide range of whiskies, gins and rums. They also have a wide variety of beers that are very well kept.Live music on a regular basis puts the icing on the cakeHighly recommended
Good choices of beer in this pub and the prices are pretty good as well.I did find the place to be a bit cold - we were sat in the back part of the pub. Also there was only one person serving which meant it took a while to get the beers in!
A good place to chill out! Theres a big backyard outside the pub. I like the cask tables so much, very unique!
Awesome range of real ales, shorts and exotic drinks. Prices are much more reasonable than most city centre pubs. Downbeat shabby decor but that just adds to the charm. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The customers are a good crowd. There is plenty of outdoor seating and a well covered smoking area (converted stable ?) There are big upstairs rooms for hire for functions and events. Public transport links are excellent so no need to drive here. On street parking is metered. Just close enough to city centre for access to other venues but not rowdy like West Street.
