Nice park. Good enclosed playground. Good cafe. Bouncy castle at weekends and school holidays!
Good food, friendly staff. It's gets very busy here and the queue to order can take a while but the food does come quite quickly once ordered.
I love this place. The staff are always excellent and friendly. They make the best chips! Excellent coffee. Next door is pullins bouncy castle and children's rides. John Pullin is brilliant with children and my kids love the bouncy slide
We have eaten here several times before. The food has been ok when we've eaten toasties and sandwiches etc but today we made the mistake of trying a special. This is ironic as it was the worse meal I've eaten there. Meatballs mash and peas. Poor quality and 7.50 What a joke?! My son also was given a very burnt sausage and a very dry jacket potato. Only 1 of the 4 of us ate all their food. Luckily he was very hungry and he likes fish fingers and chips! As a cafe it's quite cheap but today's meal wasn't good for three of us. I think next week we'll walk further up to forge dam and visit the cafe there instead.
Great park area. Cafe is excellent. Lots going on every time we go there. Great play area for kids. Nice woodland walk.
