On the recent sad passing of my mother, I contacted Co-op Funeral care and my point of contact was Mr Simon Winfrow.From the very get go of having to sort out mothers funeral, Simon and his amazing team of people, who I have to say showed ultimate compassion and sorrow for our loss and guided and advised me through the whole process of what I needed to do in order to give Mum her rightful beautiful and respectful send off.I too visited mother at the chapel of rest and again I could not have been more happier than how mother looked (at peace and beautiful)There were a few specific requests that I asked for and Simon and the team arranged these without question and when we saw the results of our requests when mother came for the final ride from her home we were all overcome with emotion, and we could have not asked for any more.The Service for Mum was impeccably planned and again Simon and his team were first class in the delivery of everything they did for our mother.I am proud and honored that we chose The Co-op Funeral Care at Suffolk Road to give mum the rightful respectable send off that this lady deservedSimon & Your Team, we will always be indebted to what you did on Mum's Special Day x
This place dealt with my mothers funeral. I went to see my mother in this funeral home it was 1 of the worst experiences of my life. They placed the coffin the wrong way round so as I opened the door I saw my mothers sunken face I should have seen her feet first. They made my beautiful mother look like I don't know how to explain it but there excuse was it wasn't there usual makeup artist. I said I don't want excuses that is the last image of my mothers face. I'm still having nightmares, please go careful who you chose to look after your loved ones once they have passed.
