Great gym space and facilities, shame none of the gym rules are followed. Spent more time finding the weights I needed on the floor than I did lifting. Boxing area is the only saving grace.
I've tried a lot of gyms in Sheffield and can honestly say this is by far the best I have been in. Of course there are some issues with finding grip handles and that weights are always missplaced but that depends for on the people that go there than the staff.One thing that the gym lacks is longer working hours, I am a student and I work two jobs so I rarely have time to go to the gym rather than late at night. I think everyone would appreciate you working at least until midnight not talking even about 24/7 like Pure Gym and The Gym offers. If that changes I can honestly say best option out there.
Faulty everything from the first day there, water machines out of order for months. Machines missing parts and not maintained properly. The car park is run by one of them camera companies and I got charged for putting my number plate in wrongly, even though the gym could prove I was there legitimately they refused to do so resulting in a fine. The real problems come if you have to deal with anyone in customer services who will promise to do whatever you ask for but will then do precisely nothing.
Nice large space with a lot of equipment - especially treadmills. The only improvement would be to have a larger women's section with more weights.
A frankly appalling company to deal with. My wife had previously been a member and called to cancel her membership, she was informed she needed to pay the current and next month's membership, which she did and then cancel the direct debit. Fast forward 5 months my pregnant wife is being contacted by debt collectors demanding over 200 (membership was 10 a month so maximum missed would be 60). Simply disgusting from a large company, demanding payment off us due to their own incompetence. Avoid Exercise 4 less and the Harlands group.
