Avoid.....I wish I had read the reviews before agreeing to use these. The whole journey was a VERY STRESSFUL roller coaster of ....if...buts... and maybes....I could never get a straight answer, spoke to too many different assistants, very little empathy with the customer, I was for the most part only able to be told what they can't do....story too long to write in this box....but the day before I had panned to move I was still unsure if I was moving...could not get an straight ..Yes or No .answer from my solicitor!!! The Regional Manger from Purple Bricks had to instigate a call from my solicitors!!...in the end I moved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....but then they even charged me the wrong Land Transactions tax, and after all that a few months later I had a an extra bill to pay for late payment fees!.....they did not even pay it in time to the correct department....so beware......
I used a Conveyancing Company to sell my mum's house. The Company I used were worse than useless. When it came to Conveyancing Solicitors for the purchase of a new property for my mum, I came across PM Property Lawyers. From the very first phone call I felt at ease. Nothing was too much trouble and they kept me informed every step of the way. We hit some issues with the developers of the new build but Charlotte Barnes and her team soon got everything sorted for me. They gave me updates as and when there were any and the team (and Charlotte) didn't seem to mind how many times I called just to see where we were at. The only reason we didn't get completion on the initial agreed date was due to the developers but again, PM Property Lawyers swiftly dealt with the issue and fixed a completion date that suited ourselves. My mum moved in on 3 December 2018. Today, 28th January 2019, I needed some information about the purchase and called Charlotte's team who were more than happy to assist me with what I needed and they even remembered who I was, and asked after my mum as she had been in poor health whilst the purchase was going through. Excellent Company. Thank you Charlotte and Team 6. You were great!!!

My advice is do not use.I may have been unlucky with the team my case was assigned to but I very much doubt it. Firstly it says on their website that they have (I'm paraphrasing here) 'an extensive team, so your case will never be just added to the pile' basically. Well when we spoke to the solicitor we were told they have other things to be getting on with not just ours. This contradicts what it says on their website about just being another case.Secondly we made it very clear we had a short timescale to complete our sale and were told that it was possible in 28days if we paid for the fast track service they offer. It took over 90 days to complete and this was tied in with me and my partner making phone calls on their behalf to keep the timescale as short as possible. They seem to be afraid of picking up a phone like i did. There was no care shown for me the client throughout the whole process. I have lodge a complaint with the company about this and they haven't even responded within the timescale they say they will. Sums them up.Avoid
