A busy Friday lunchtime but after only a short wait we are seated and served quickly. Freshly cooked and delicious fish and chips. Trad curry sauce too. Great quality at a competitive price. Only small negative is they don't do garden peas. That won't stop me returning.

The last day before the Christmas break and they'd run out of haddock, but that's fully understandable and I'm being very cruel in only giving this otherwise award winning chippie which is, to be honest, a bit of a Sheffield institution. I live five minutes away and this is the first time I've ventured in. They're only open lunchtimes, so we thought a pre Christmas eat in treat, and it was worth it.Cool staff, clean and tidy, nice cod and chips, good home made mushy peas, quality coffee, and a few extra "Sheffield fishcakes" for good measure.Top grub, top chippie and you know what?Five of us left full to the brim, for 40 - so you're getting top Sheffield value too.Next time I'll give them five stars I'm sure, and that in itself is a reason to return.

It's a good chippy which services the surrounding offices and factories. Prices are reasonable. Portion sizes are good (not enormous but you're not left hungry!)A good sign is that when we went on a Friday lunchtime the queue was coming out of the front door so it obviously has a great reputation. Would recommend.
