STOLEN FROM US - PLEASE DO NOT USE! I am extremely upset that we trusted and paid this removal company to pack and move our belongings, as many of you are looking to do. This company employ untrustworthy staff and do nothing to help you once they have your money. Currently looking at reporting to police. An unmarked van arrived on packing day and as instructed, we left the team of two to pack our belongings. The next day our boxed up house was loaded into clockwork truck by a new team of men. Somehow, in between our front door and the back of the truck, a pair of 300 Sonas speakers got lost. We paid the 300 for insurance cover to clockwork, but in my mind, this had been to cover any breakages. I never actually believed they would steal from us?! Without ANY apology or explantation to what had happened to the speakers, we were just told they had got lost and were passed to the insurance claim company, who after 4 weeks of investigating said they could not replace them. We are now left out of pocket and without any speakers. More to the point, I am disgusted at how we have been dealt with, and feel extremely violated we that allowed and trusted these people into our home.
Good lads and a great service
The guys who moved us in were a really nice bunch who did a good job. Couldnt fault them. Unfortunately we couldnt be there for the move from our old house, as wed relocated before selling it. Several items were left behind, with no initiative shown or questions asked of us where there might have been doubt in the movers minds (probably 500-600 worth of stuff). The office simply disregarded our complaints. The movers did randomly disconnect this sink from our old garden and brought it with them though (wed shared a photo of it to highlight where our hosepipe reel was sitting - we werent expecting the sink to be unplumbed). That was kind of nice/weird.Id also add that sometimes you need the experienced professionals to ask the right questions, rather than simply hide behind their Ts & Cs.
A stressful moving day made much easier by Byron and Andy. Efficient and very helpful throughout, above and beyond the call of duty. Also thanks to the rest of the team who helped with the unload due to the lateness of obtaining the keys. Would highly recommend this firm to anyone. 22nd June 2018.
Clockwork moved us across Sheffield yesterday, these guys were absolutely amazing. They came in the day before to pack and part load, and finished off the morning of the move. The speed they packed at was phenomenal.We didnt get the keys to the new house until 3:30pm, but they drafted in a couple of extra pairs of hands and got everything unloaded by the end of the day. Every one of the guys was pleasant, professional and courteous.Thanks to Clockwork, the actual removal was the least stressful part of the move!
