nice Place, does this place do pop music ?
Friendly and professionaldoor staff making you feel safe while enjoying some cheesy old pop music . Overall a very nice place just a shame that the stairs to go to the toilets are usually a bit slippery due to customers spilling drinks. Apart from that brill place to have a nice cheesy night out
Does exactly what is says on the tin. Fantastic selection of music from the last three decades.
My daughter who just turned 18 was set apon by 5 women and 2 men in their 30s on the dance floor Saturday night 1am. Which left my daughter needing stitches to her eyebrow. Having informed a staff member or bouncer that my daughter had been hit and her face was bleeding, I couldn't find my daughter and went outside to look for her only to not be let back in, leaving my daughter inside. I did not know if she had collapsed or whether the mob were attacking her. No matter how much I pleaded they ignored me. I had to actually ring the police to try and get my daughter help inside of Popworld. If anyone has any information as to what happened or who they were please contact me. Police are informed.
Watered down drinks. Ordered two double vodka and mixers, both tasted just of mixers. Explained this to the staff to have a shoulder-shrug/smirk and an offer of exchange - tasted the same. The place is in need of a bit of smattering up, it still looks and smells like when it was Flares back in the early 00's!!!!
