Had several occasions where the barrier has stopped working and it takes 20 minutes + to speak to a member of staff. Not a great feeling when you have a long drive home! Also been occasions where groups of people are hanging around in the stairwell which can sometimes feel intimidating when walking to your car on an evening.
Brilliant for parking near the children's and hallamshire hospital. You can book a parking space online to guarantee a space.
Reasonably priced at 50p an hour for Sheffield city centre, however I've had issues with the machines taking payments twice and angling your car for the exit barrier enough to post your ticket is an extreme sport in itself. Would only park there if extremely necessary.
I have been using this car park for the last couple of months and found it very good, but as soon as I have an issue with the ticket machine it all goes down hill. It takes 10 minutes to answer the call for help and 30 minutes for an attendant to turn up. So I am trapped in the car park. Need to improve staff.
Not the cheapest car park in the area, and little in the way of security once your car is in. I wouldn't want to be around here at night. Reasonable number of spaces available.
