Large car park but fills up fast and hourly trains.
An attractive railway station where the scenic Hope Valley Line joins the Midland Main Line. HSTs pass through daily and steam trains pass through occasionally.
Absolutely lovely the "Artesian van" with crepes and hot cold drinks
Waiting room is cold and miserable even when freshly painted. And it's too small to contain the commuters. Ticket machine is temperamental at best. No staff on site, except at random inspectors turn up and cause huge queues by surprising everyone with the need to buy a ticket. Car park is big but fills up quickly. There is a seasonal wildlife area to view between the tracks.
