It's a functional station with lots of destinations and it's easy to navigate. However, I wish there were more warm / comfortable places to sit down and wait for your train. Also, I would like to see the charges to use the toilet phased out ASAP. Some people have to travel with medical conditions such as IBS or overactive bladder.

Good selection of shops and the prices are okay. I use this station often and it is easy to know where your train is as platforms are clearly labelled and it is useful having the tram station right next to it to make travelling even easier and the bus station isn't too far away from the train station either.Would I travel at this station again? Definitely!

A large and well situated train station with a good range of shops, store and facilities. Waiting rooms are on the main platforms and both male and female toilets are provided for use. As an open station there is no ticket barrier because of the right of way and gives you easy access to the city centre and the tram network.

Very clean and easy to navigate station. I just wish people would respect the floor arrows and stay to the correct side of walkways.

On Monday 29th October at 4:15 I paid 30p at a turnstile to enter the ladies'. There was quite a lot of paper mess on the floor surrounding my toilet. While inside the cubicle I heard a male voice mumbling outside. He appeared to be talking to himself. I emerged from the cubicle after finishing, to discover a male cleaner with janitor's cart, simply standing there and waiting while mumbling. I washed my hands, then went over to the tiled wall where the hand driers were situated. While drying my hands, the man started wiping the wall around me with a rather dirty cloth, in an extremely perfunctory way. No one could have accused him of actually cleaning it. My question is: why do we have to pay 30p for the 'privilege' of an untidy toilet facility, and a male janitor who appears untrained in the arts of proper hygiene to boot. Bring in women janitors please! We want our privacy respected!
