Lovely shop set out well. We went in looking a boots and jeans. The caf was really nice and in s quiet area which is good.
No one was willing to help us with finding the right clothes. They don't do anything even when we asked for help, but they were very helpful to white customers even when we were there first. They just ignored us. Their alarm went off for some reason and they were very quick to inspect all our shopping bags even though some of the things we bought are from a different shop. There weren't any security tags on our things, and no one else walked by the exit at that time, so we were wondering if they triggered it manually. I guess we are a security risks to their shop because we are people of colour.
Lovely girl who worked on the collections desk who advised me of a very poor change to click and collect. Id ordered a 200 leather jacket in the sale that was unavailable in store and was told helpfully told by sales assistant that she just needed to make me aware that if the item was unsuitable the only way to get a full refund back to my payment method was to return via post and that the cost of the return was to be paid by me, this is after already paying delivery to the store. The paid for delivery service is also far worse than close rivals such as Debenhams and M&S in speed as well taking 5 working days to arrive in store. Seems like a very poor service for such a high end shop and screams sports direct. Wont be ordering online from HoF again
Great that you can actually shop in a top end store. So nice to be able see, touch, try on if necessary goods before you buy them. If we don't use these department stores we'll all be shopping online.
Excellent range of products and brands, it is like just like a mini maze. Very helpful staff and easy to find within Meadowhall. Free parking outside both underground and above and it is very accessible off the M1 at junction 34, you are there in just 10 minutes.
