Great museum. Lots to see and interact with lovely food in the cafe, great shop... and the best weddings happen here!! Everyone in the hospitality team are amazing! We love it... and so many great events happen at this venue

Attended wedding here. Lovely place, staff were great. Bar was fitted to a good standard to say it wasnt an actual bar. Would recommend getting your wedding event here if you like a bit of history.

Well worth the entrance fee just to see the River Don engine working. We arrived just in time to see it working in the morning and again managed to see it working in the afternoon. Our grandson loved the indoor play area which is also informative and educational. There's far too much to see in one visit. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the exhibits. There's a very good onsite cafe selling good coffee and reasonably priced food.To pinch a phrase from a well known film I'll be back again and again.

A cool place to remember the former glory of Sheffield's foundry heritage. It has a small foundry-themed playground for kids, which is perfect for parents so they can take turns to see the many antiques in exhibition. 1800's weapons, Rolls Royce engines, and even WWII bomb shells are on display. The best part is a huge fully operational steam engine which is plain bliss to watch when it's turned on. Requires several visits to fully enjoy.

Interesting museum about historical evolution of Sheffield and surroundings. They spaces about the two World Wars and their impact, industry, cars, machines, different types of tools, women's role on the companies, etc. They also have interactive activities and a space where children can enjoy the visit playing with games related to history. For those who love souvenirs, there is a space to buy them (books, postcards, key-chains, cases...). I recommend to visit it.
