A pleasant place to stroll around, not too large. Public car park at Penistone Road end.
Lovely wide open Spaces. There is a library which has access to the internet(booking times may apply if busy). Theres an awesome park what more can u say. A few big open fields to play football or go crazy etc. And then there is the tennis football and basketball courts. As well as a pond which you can fish in (fishing license permitted).
Wide open spaces in the park. Nice lake with ducks for the children and a good sized play area for the children too. Good place to ride a bike. Plenty of parking but it is a pay and display costing a few pounds for several hours. No eateries nearby so go for a picnic ?
Had loads of fun here as a kid. Fishing in the pond, bowling on the bowling green and playing on the swings. It now has the occasional funfair and circus
This is a great park to bring children or dogs or even just to go for a walk. There's a Car park that's a small fee. A massive field to walk the dog on or play football. The park area is great for kids. The pond is nice to walk round and feed ducks. There's also a library.
