Granddaughter has just been transferred to another hospital after spending just over 10 weeks at Sheffield she was in a bad place when admitted but made good progress after changing her meds staff were nice to her and they were very good with home leave they arranged for her to be bought home by there staff and picked up again to go back the only down side was on day she had to go to another hospital they didn't tell mum she had left even though mum had asked to speak to her daughter before she was transferred
Horrible, horrible place. The staff are uncaring, unprofessional and rude. I had a dreadful experience with them. I would not recommend them to anybody.

My daughters stay in the teens unit was good. She got the help and support she needed at a bad time in her life. Did not always want to be there but spoke and reasoned with her as an adult and she made good progress.
Horrible night staff that offer no support and bully. My daughter was threatened with police involvement for something she didn't do. The ward doctor messed up her medication which meant shed have to stay on ward longer for observation, when my daughter got upset because she wasn't being discharged for another month, the Dr threatened her with a section 3 (6 months) because she didn't want to stay. Ridiculous. Alot of the staff gossiped about patients with other patients and staff when I was assured my daughter's information was confidential. my daughter told me about a woman called 'tulie' who would go out of her way to be rude to her. I've had to make a lot of complaints about how some of the staff are straight up bullying the patients but nothing is ever done. I asked my close friend (who's son was also admitted at cygnet hospital a few years ago) if she had any experience with staff bullying her son and she did. Unacceptable. My daughter is there to recover not to be bullied and made to feel even worse.
