They are fantastic at what they do. The staff are brilliant and they have good access to the right equipment. The only thing that let's it down, is the walk-in service, the wait is long and the waiting room is busy; and I understand why. A very good hospital that needs more funding.
My son received great care on TAU. Most of the staff we encountered we friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and they were fab with my son.The restaurant provides food at reasonable prices too.
Excellent care love the new outpatients. What you put up with on a and e is awful. Parents complaining about the wait! If they have to wait their child is well enough to wait they see sick children first. Parents complaining about the wait because of a simple temperature should have gone to their GP.
Nearly killed my son and then just said everything was alright because he was saved. Horrid hospital. Would never recommend it to anyone.
Infection control needs addressing the hospital is dirty in communal areas. Toilets filthy. One particular corridor was so dirty that it looked like they'd pulled an old fridge out that hadn't been cleaned being in 20 years. Considering this is a children's hospital and some being seriously ill and risk of infection high, standards of hygiene and cleaning should be just as priority as the care provided
