Had an 'emergency' appointment for a problem with one of my eyes and can truly say that the treatment I received was excellent. From the consultant who first saw me to the surgeon who performed my op and the staff on the ward I couldn't have received better treatment. I can't thank them enough.
Eye Hospital - Proff Reni - the whole experience cannot fault!! from staff to treatment and after care - fantastic, we travel an hour and half to go and wouldnt go anywhere else. Fantastic department
I am positing this review on my wife's account.having just had surgery. Was looked after on ward N 2 what can I say these people from the girls that bring you the most the amazing food to the theatre porters that take to and from your operation , thanks guys. To all the nursing staff , Doctors, and every one involved with my treatment. A massive thank you to you all and thank God that places like these exist with staff that really care. As always excellent staff etc. Just a shame you have too walk past the smokers on the way out. Ban it on site or give them there own area away from everyone. 27/9/18 Now the hospital is proud to be smoke free including the grounds. So why do I still have to endour smokers outside the main entrance. If your proud to be something then you must enforce it.
Good hospital but they don't provide facilities for people with babies. Changing units are in toilets - on N level there is changing unit only in women toilets. Fathers have to look on other floors. There should be separate room for babies with changing unit and chair where you can calm down the child in quiet environment. Now you have to sit with other people with crying children - disturbing both patients' peace and children's rest. Just one, small room on each floor and can change everything.Apart of that I have only good impressions.
