After waiting hours after taking an overdose waiting for my taxi to go home I was happy when I was greeted by a huge rat running around the hospital grounds and when I informed a&e reception I was told that they would get in touch with the cleaners been an hospital hygiene is beneficial inside and out due to patients with many illnesses people dont want to be going severely ill and seeing vermin running around an hospital it made me physically sick to see the this a huge clean up is majorly needed as to avoid the situation properly
The people that work for the NHS are saints! Underpaid, understaffed and underfunded. They treat every patient as if theyre the most important person in the world, they give every iota of care they possibly can and all while working harder than most people ever will in their whole lives.Cant thank you enough for the amazing jobs you all do. The service you provide is spectacular and I hope you are all proud of your selves and know how valued you really are!

My daughter, who has autism, was in Theatre Admission Unit for planned surgery to have her gallbladder removed. The level of preparation and meetings with me to plan the best way to get my daughter through this was incredible and the care on the day was overwhelming. The Anaesthetist and Surgeon were exceptional. The Anaesthetist and her team got my daughter to sleep with incredible gentle warmth and care and allowed me to stay with her, it was so heartwarming and reassuring to see. The surgeon came to see me immediately after the operation to reassure me. Every single member of staff in theatre and in the ward were amazing. I cannot thank everyone enough and the kindness, skill and care will never be forgotten we are truly grateful.
The staff are absolutely amazing. Extremely skilled and professional but also incredibly caring. Thanks to them my partner is still with us today and we are both eternally grateful to them for everything they did.
