Have just spent 2 weeks here and this was my third visit and I must say the whole experience from the moment I arrived to me leaving was excellent.All the staff were brilliant and couldn't do enough for me but special thanks to James Gregory who was brilliant! Thanks Zeba
Best option if you need to stay in town. Breakfast is good as you get both cereals and hot option like sausage and scramble eggs.Parking is not free but is around 5/day which is as much as in NCP car park nearby.The hotel is 10 Min walk to the centre. Rooms are good size and our room had very spacious shower
Wonderful place to stay. Soap shower gel supplied. Bed was lovely and comfortable, with drinks supplied in the room. Breakfast was a fantastic choice to choose from and eat until full.
Great! Had everything you need including gym, pool, free parking and restaurant. Just book in advance rooms go quick.I've been coming here nearly every week for business as I'm studying at the university of Sheffield as party of my apprenticeship.Free WiFi is nothing to shout about.In all fairness I do prefer the holiday Inn express in the city centre. Send to be cheaper on average too.
It's a standard Holiday Inn Express which means compared to normal Holiday Inns it is pretty basic. Rooms are clean, functional and comfortable for the odd night but if you are staying longer opt for the sister hotel up the road. Breakfast is rubbish frankly, 4 hot items only, rubbery scrambled egg, cheap sausage, sweaty bacon (the sort that has white stuff on it) and massively overcooked beans plus the usual continental options and machine produced coffee. They are clearly pushing the 'breakfast to go' option. It's pretty near the station, you can walk it in 10-15m, but it's a chore if you have a case. Bar is OK but it is pretty far from shops etc so if you don't want to walk, be prepared to pay the usual inflated hotel bar prices.
