Several visits here have meant that this is one of my favourite Sheffield hotels. Excellent service, clean and modern rooms and tasty food. A spa with steam/aromatherapy rooms, pool and treatment facilities adds the extra touch to a relaxing stay.
Booked in for a spa package, evening meal, room and breakfast. Couldn't fault any part. All staff were welcoming and polite, spa packages were excellent. Lovely warm pool and sauna/steam rooms. Evening meal was lovely meet by excellent service. Same regarding breakfast. We got a real friendly feeling from the staff.Room was above standard with a massive bed that was sooooo comfy (10hrs sleep). Wash facilities were excellent. All in excellent night would highly recommend and will be returning.
Great location with the peace gardens, winter gardens and Sheffield musuem within a stone's throw. In the middle of town centre so great for shopping. Friendly staff with decent facilities. Loved the buffet breakfast! No complaints.
We had a really lovely stay for a weekend away as was attending a gig at the 02 academy which is 2 minutes walk away.The spa treatment was really good,we felt totally blissed out after our massages,really friendly and helpful staff.Highly recommend as a great way to relax and give your body a bit of TLC.Free access to the swimming pool and steam rooms was a bonus too.The room was very clean and had a fantastic view.The entrance desk staff were really lovely and made us feel very welcome.The breakfast buffet again was fabulous and again we were greeted by a lovely friendly member of staff.We will definetely use this hotel again.
We received a warm welcome at the hotel on Saturday afternoon. The room was fine but not 4 star. I would say it was more 3 star. The public areas were lovely and the staff were great, really friendly and helpful. The main downside was that the Champagne Bar, which had expected to be an adult only environment was full of children running around and making a noise. A separate family area away from the bar would be more appropriate for families so other guests who wish to have a quiet celebratory glass of champagne. It was late Saturday afternoon/early evening and there were only 2 or 3 staff trying to tend the bar, clear the tables and everything else! As a result the tables were dirty. Please get them some help!
