Shocking this time. Fan in shower didn't work. Heated towel rail didn't work. The bar ran out of vodka. Dinner was a disaster. Some terrible food, much worse, dreadful service. One of our party of 9 ended up clearing the tables and taking dirty dishes into the kitchen as we'd waited so long. One of the staff stood and watched it happen. He then started to bring desserts from the kitchen and the chef let him do it. Waitress got stroppy and asked him to let her do her job. That was the problem though, she wasn't doing it. 'Manager' didn't care and said it was out of his control. Such a shameful, huge drop in standards, this place was great when we visited last year.
Stayed here as we were seeing a band at the university it's a short walk to the uni and all the shops. Hotel is extremely clean the room was really spacious and hotel has its own car park which is rare these days. Would definitely recommend and I will definitely stay again.
Good location. Nice room and clean. bad points. No plug next to the bed for ya phone, poor tea making facilities.
Excellent value for money. Lovely room. Had the meal package as we were going to the theatre. Food was excellent. 2 evening courses and drinks and full English breakfast. Excellent. Recommend. Easy walking access to town centre and Lycium Theatre.
Premier Inns are not usually stand out locations for me but this is a great Premier Inn. The lady who runs it is brilliant and all her staff exhibit high levels of friendliness, helpfulness and attention to detail. They are all about customer care.It is well situated in the centre of Sheffield and has parking available as well. The restaurant is top-notch.I stayed here for a week on business and I can highly recommend this hotel. I'm going back in September.
